About me
My name is Wei Zhou
I'm an authorised Helsinki guide specialised in culture, architecture, Finnish society, culinary experience, design, urban nature. I provide general, specialised and tailor-made tours in English and Mandarin Chinese.
I was born in Shanghai, having been living in Helsinki for more than 3 decades. Helsinki is almost my home town.
It’s my passion to convey the stories about Finland to visitors from abroad, whether it’s related to society, education, traditions, business, innovation, attractions, cuisine, culture, life style or design.
I'm also a professional in marketing communication, providing services to Visit Finland, Helsinki Partners, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, various Finnish organisations and companies.
I'm a member of The Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters (SKTL), Finnish Journalist Association, The Finnish Guild of Travel, Journalists (KILTA) and Rotary.
I love reading, travel, going to the museums and concerts, dancing Argentine tango, walking with my dog (Jessie, a golden retriever) in the nature.
